Mobile Device Setup
Many devices can be configured by ‘browsing’ to https://saturn,intelli-mail.net/install, logging in using your supplied user name and password then clicking on the relevant link when the system recognises your device operating system. This is known as ‘OTA’ or ‘Over the Air’ deployment which is a very easy way to install, especially if you need to set up a device in a remote location where you have no access to an Internet connected PC. If you choose this option and install over the mobile GPRS/3G network you will probably have to pay a data charge for the data to be downloaded which may be several MB and may take a while to complete.
Alternatively, to install software on a device through an Internet connected PC, login to https://saturn.intelli-mail.net and select ‘Settings’, then ‘Add Sync Device’. For all devices other than a Windows PC you need to have the device connected to your PC with the relevant synchronisation software installed, such as Activesync for Windows Mobile or Nokia PC Suite for Nokia Symbian based mobile phones.

Identify your device
On the Select your device page, select the appropriate radio button or check box, then ‘Next’.

For Pocket PC, Symbian OS, Palm and Smartphone the above screen will appear. Select the ‘Install to PC’ option.
Note: The ‘Send Message’ option is not applicable for UK/European installations as this is not supported by local carriers.
Install the software and sync

-
If you get the ‘File Download – Security Warning’ message, click ‘Run’, then ‘Run’ at the next warning. Then carefully read and follow the prompts provided by the installer to install the client software on your device.
-
After the software is installed you can then return to the ‘Settings’ page.
-
If not already open, launch the sync client on your device.
-
For Windows Mobile and Palm OS devices you will be prompted for your supplied password prior to the first synchronisation.
-
On your first sync, you will be prompted to Refresh (recommended) or Merge the data with the data on your device (Windows Mobile and Palm). We would recommend ‘Refresh’ to avoid duplication of data.
-
After the synchronization is complete, remove the device from the cradle or cable. Your device is configured and synchronised with the hosted server. You must keep your device powered on to continue to receive up to date email and PIM data.
-
Note: On Symbian devices, such as Nokia ‘E Series’ Mobile phones, you need to enter configuration information on to the device by carrying out the following:
-
Press the ‘Symbian’ key to go into the main menu
-
Select ‘Installations’ then ‘Intellisync’
-
Select ‘Settings’ then ‘Connection’
-
Enter your email address for ‘Username’, Supplied password for ‘Password’, Saturn.intelli-mail.net for ‘Server Address’ and select your mobile carrier’s preferred Internet connection for ‘Connection’.
-
Then select ‘Sync’ to perform the first synchronisation. This may take some time to download.
-
You can then go back into ‘Settings’, ‘When to Sync’ to choose how and when you want to have your email delivered to your mobile. We recommend having ‘Push’ enabled, ‘Timed Interval’ enabled with ‘Interval’ set to 2 hours. With these settings new messages will be ‘pushed’ to your device as they arrive and the device will carry out a full synchronisation every 2 hours.
