Setting up your esemail account for the first time

The full solution consists of two elements:

A: An application downloaded to a networked PC (If synchronising with MS Exchange/Lotus Domino) or a POP/IMAP email account(s) connection configured through the hosted server web interface

B: A client application downloaded & installed on a mobile device.

After a successful installation you can expect:

Verify and complete personalised information as requested and click ‘Next’.
Tip: Enter a major UK city such as London in the 'city' box as this is used for providing weather data and not for any other geographical info.

You will then be taken to the ‘setup mobile devices’ screen. Select ‘Don’t Install Now’, at this stage.

You will then be presented with the main Account Settings’ page. We strongly recommend that you change your password to something more memorable and unique to you at this stage by clicking on the 'General User Information' link.
You can then change your password as well as modify any of your personal settings.

Important note: If you subsequently change your password after your PC/Workgroup Monitor has been installed you will have to update the password on the PC Monitor as well otherwise this will not authenticate correctly with the hosted server.

Once changed click ‘submit’, account setup is complete and you can then return to the main screen and configure a PC Monitor (if required) as well as add any mobile devices. If you want to receive messages from your Internet based POP or IMAP email servers you can add connections here by clicking on the ‘Add POP3 / IMAP Import Connection’ or ‘Add IMAP Server Connection’ if you’d like to synchronise messages with a single IMAP Server.
